This page lists installation instructions for non-Linux packages of Arx Libertatis. Please see the main download page if your distribution is not listed here.
ℹ️ This page only lists downloads for the Arx Libertatis game binary and tools and their source code. You will also need the data files from the original Arx Fatalis or its demo - see Getting the game data.
ℹ️ Please see Installing the game data under Linux regarding where and how to install the game data.
Alternatively, configure Steam to use Arx Libertatis to play Arx Fatalis.
macOS
Currently no macOS binary is made available.
However, there is a Homebrew formula for arx-libertatis. To install Arx Libertatis using Homebrew, run:
brew install arx-libertatis
Alternatively, see Downloading and Compiling under macOS.
A user has also created an unofficial native build for Arx Libertatis that can be used under macOS.
DragonFly BSD
There is a DragonFly BSD port available in DPorts: games/arx-libertatis
FreeBSD
There is a FreeBSD port available: games/arx-libertatis

# cd /usr/ports/games/arx-libertatis/ && make install clean
Alternatively, install the pre-compiled package:
# pkg install arx-libertatis
NetBSD

There is a OpenBSD port available for version 1.1.2: games/arx-libertatis
Haiku
There is a Haiku port available for version 1.2-dev: arx_libertatis
Note that this version is currently based on a development snapshot of Arx Libertatis so may contain some regressions that we haven't caught yet.
Pandora
A user has created an unofficial port of Arx Libertatis to the Template:Wp - see the package listing at openpandora.org (demo).
